Medior Software Tester
We are looking for expanding our team in Iasi with an experienced Software Tester.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of knowledge in test management and bug tracking tools and processes;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field;
- Very good knowledge of QA methods and tools, computer competence and testing practices;
- Knowledge of web-based applications;
- Experience with performance testing;
- Good SQL knowledge;
- Good grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from a testing perspective;
- Strong communication skills in Romanian and English – both written and verbal;
- Strong communication and presentation skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent collaboration and time-management;
- Flexible, adaptive to changes, positive thinking.
Nice to have
- Experience with TFS;
- Experience testing applications deployed in cloud environments (Azure preferred);
- ISTQB certification or equivalent (a plus);
- Courses or certifications in test automation tools or frameworks (a plus);
- Experience with database testing (e.g., SQL queries, validating data integrity);
- Script and tool-based automation testing knowledge (JMeter, Selenium web driver etc.).
Responsibilities
- Analysis and interpretation of business/functional specification, carrying out response activities in terms of test cases identification and test planning;
- Develop test cases for each type of tests and prioritize testing activities according to the deadlines and projects status;
- Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect; Keep track of all defects and fixes;
- Synchronize the testing process with the team;
- Handle changes in project;
- Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code;
- Defines the test strategy and plan to make sure the application is consistent to the specification;
- Design test cases for Nonfunctional requirements: compatibility, performance, scalability;
- Identifying and raising bugs for issues found during either testing or production;
- Use various tools to gather crash logs, screenshots and other details;
- Provide test reports and metrics;
- Keep track of the testing outcome (bug fixes);
- Execute the test plan in different environments (Dev, UAT, Prod) (generic test cases);
- Reports issues in a structured, documented and detailed way;
- Prepare end-of-testing reports for each change request or feature, summarizing test activities, results, and any outstanding issues;
- Prepare test data for specific situations;
- Proposing improvements and identifies risks at any project phase;
- Shares own expertise with others.
